Microblading can be described as a form of eyebrow architecture. It is a way to create the perfect shape for each person’s face. It is also a completely bespoke approach that each client will use.
This is possible because the tool used is a pen-like device with a sloped blade with 10-12 needles at its end. These needles don’t penetrate the skin but gently scratch the surface of the skin, much like a papercut.
The needle implants very fine featherweight strokes using a medical-grade pigment on the epidermis. This creates natural, realistic hair strokes.
How long does Microblading last?
Semi-permanent results can last up to three years. This depends on the skill level of the practitioner. Strikes that are too short fade quickly, while strokes that are too deep become too dark and blurred.
How long does the procedure take?
The average treatment takes about 2 hours. This includes determining the ideal shape, custom color blend, and style. This allows for sufficient numbing to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible. The average time for touch-ups is 1.5 hours.
How is the healing process?
Your brows will appear darker when they are freshly done. Don’t worry! Over the next few weeks, the true colour will emerge. For the first few days, patients will be asked to keep their eyebrows dry. After that, they can apply Vaseline to the treated area and monitor the progress of having perfect brows.
What type of result should one expect?
You can expect to look completely refreshed and young with great brows! Brows that are well-done will frame and lift your eyes as no makeup can. Also, you can expect to cut down on your morning routine by not having to draw in your brows.
